For a modern clinic or a renowned hospital in Rümlang, we are looking for a committed and experienced Ward Manager (80-100%) who will lead and further develop the nursing team with professional expertise, leadership experience, and empathy.

Your tasks:

• Leadership, organization, and further development of the nursing team on the ward
• Ensuring professional and high-quality patient care according to current nursing and medical standards
• Planning and controlling personnel deployment taking into account capacities, qualifications, and operational requirements
• Promoting interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, therapists, and other specialist departments
• Contact person for patients and relatives to ensure the best possible care
• Implementation and ensuring of quality and hygiene standards as well as continuous optimization of workflows
• Support and accompaniment of employees in their professional and personal development through training, coaching, and feedback discussions
• Execution and monitoring of administrative processes such as documentation, reporting, and evaluation of nursing services
• Participation in projects for the further development of nursing quality and the implementation of new concepts

Your profile:

• Completed training as a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau/-mann HF/FH or an equivalent recognized qualification
• Further training in leadership, management, or ward management is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in acute care or long-term care, ideally in a leadership position
• Leadership competence and strong communication skills for the motivating leadership of an interdisciplinary team
• High social competence, empathy, and solution-oriented thinking for optimal patient care
• Organizational skills, decision-making ability, and a structured way of working
• Confident handling of digital documentation systems and administrative processes
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing, other language skills are an advantage
