Polymechaniker/in - CNC Manufacturing for 6-month assignment in an international environment

Activity

• Precise manufacturing of mechanical components according to technical drawings and 3D models
• Adapting and creating CNC programs for efficient manufacturing
• Setting up and operating CNC machines including preparation of tools and consumables
• Inspection of manufactured parts with measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specified tolerances
• Performing maintenance and rectifying minor mechanical faults on production machines
• Requirements
• Completed training as Polymechaniker EFZ with experience in CNC turning and milling
• Confident handling of CAM software and CNC controls such as Heidenhain, Fanuc or Siemens
• Sound knowledge in reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments
• High level of personal responsibility, quality awareness and a structured, reliable way of working
• Good PC skills, teamwork skills and openness to new technologies such as automation and digitalization
