We are looking for an experienced conventional mechanic to participate in the manufacture, adjustment, and fine-tuning of high-precision mechanisms intended for art automata. You will produce complex mechanical parts, single units or in very small series, requiring meticulousness, know-how, and mastery of conventional techniques.

Desired profile

• CFC Precision mechanic or judged equivalent
• Proven experience in conventional machining, watchmaking, art mechanics or on complex mechanisms
• Mastery of reading plans, tolerances, and control methods
• Strong skills in adjustment, assembly, and precision mechanics
• Ease in the production of single units or prototypes
• Manual dexterity, autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail

Main responsibilities

• Produce precision mechanical parts on conventional lathes and milling machines
• Perform the necessary turning, milling, drilling, adjustment, and rework operations
• Manufacture or adapt components from plans, sketches, or existing parts
• Participate in the assembly, adjustment, and fine-tuning of complex mechanisms
• Control the dimensions, clearances, tolerances, and functioning of the parts and assemblies produced
• Identify malfunctions and provide the necessary mechanical corrections
