Seniority Level Employee Job Category Electrical & Mechanics Percentage 100 % Job Type Permanent - Full-time Reference No. API-EM-F-55502 Description ### For a traditional Swiss company that specializes in the manufacture of high-quality envelopes, shipping packaging and individual envelope solutions, we are looking for an independent and motivated Operations Mechanic (m/f/d) ### Your Tasks ### • Organizing and performing maintenance and repairs on the machines, systems and facilities (locations in Zürich and St. Gallen) • Independent performance of unplanned repairs in production operations • Participation in machine overhauls of the foreign subsidiaries in Österreich and Ungarn (approx. 3 x per year) • Turning, milling, drilling, grinding, manual work and welding • Planning, preparing and performing preventive maintenance • Procurement, production and inventory management of spare parts • Technical support and participation in projects Your Profile ### • Completed apprenticeship as a machine or polymechanic • Sound knowledge in assembly technology, pneumatics and conventional manufacturing • Min. 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment • Business fluent German skills (oral & written) • Independent, resilient and flexible We Offer ### • Independent and responsible activity in a dynamic and performance-oriented family company • Workplace in the middle of the city of Zürich • Free parking spaces, very good public transport connections • Working hours in a flexitime model Ready for the next step?
