Specialist Open Youth Work

The VJF carries out mandates for Open Youth Work in over 50 municipalities and offers integration services and socio-cultural projects. The employees of the VJF implement diverse projects and offers with the target groups in the municipalities. The focus of the activities is on the promotion of action and social competence. Voluntariness, participation, and resource orientation are the guiding working principles.

On behalf of the city of Bremgarten (AG), the VJF implements the Open Child and Youth Work Bremgarten. It is mainly aimed at young people between 11 and 18 years old. It operates a youth center with regular opening hours, implements projects and activities with the participation of young people, and is present in the city with mobile offers. It works together with local partners, institutions, and authorities.

Specialist Open Youth Work ##

Start of work is by arrangement, at the latest by 1. January 2027.

You work in a three-person team and are jointly responsible for the implementation and organization of all offers in Bremgarten.

You have a tertiary education in Social Work or a related field or are on your way to it. We are looking for a personality who enjoys working with children and young people in their leisure time and brings experience in this. You work motivated and independently, possess organizational talent and creative potential. You think and act flexibly and in a networked manner. You enjoy developing new things and roll up your sleeves during implementation. You are communicative, enjoy working in a team, and possess high self and social competence.

You work regularly from Wednesday to Friday and are prepared for assignments on weekends and evenings. Possibilities for partially flexible working hours and home office are given.
