Exciting tasks await:

• Responsibility for the operation of the canteen (incl. purchasing, preparation and distribution of meals, coordination with suppliers, control of the goods warehouse, preparing and conducting special events)
• Compliance with and control of hygiene and food guidelines
• Planning and production of lunch catering for groups up to 60 people, coordination with the meal supplier
• Active assistance with cleaning tasks in the responsible area
• Ensuring cash flow (cash register)

What you bring:

• Completed training as a chef and several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Experience from gastronomy in cold and warm kitchen
• Physical resilience, reliable, friendly, quality-conscious and independent
• Willingness for shifts in the evenings and on weekends
• Very good oral and written German skills, good IT user skills (Microsoft Office), driver's license Cat. B (mandatory)

Your working environment

The population is at the center of the activities of the Department of Health and Social Affairs. For the safety of their living areas, we work sustainably and purposefully. The Military and Civil Protection Department fulfills mandates in the areas of military, military service exemption, as well as population and civil protection. We are also the administrative hub for members of the army and civil protection in the Canton of Aargau. The employees are responsible for the training and coordination of deployments within the framework of civil protection.
