Social Worker in the Asylum and Refugee Sector 60-80%

We are looking for a social worker in the asylum and refugee sector 60-80% as of 1. September 2026 or by agreement.

You are our contact person for all matters related to asylum and refugee affairs.

Your main tasks

• Independent case management and care of asylum seekers and refugees
• Calculation of social assistance according to the Asylum Act and SKOS guidelines
• Ensuring medical care
• Promoting social and economic integration
• Drafting of decision proposals and responsible for their implementation
• Proactive collaboration with all involved stakeholder groups
• Representation of the social services and the Department of Society

Your profile

• Education/experience in social work and client care
• Good user knowledge in MS-Office, Tutoris or KLIB
• Team player, resilient and high social competence
• Stylish German language skills in word and writing
• Open personality with empathy and good negotiating skills
• Independent, reliable and precise working method
