Medical Practice Assistant IWA Basel 85%

The Ita Wegman Ambulatorium Basel is a group practice offering general practitioner medicine, speech therapy, and curative eurhythmy. The female and male general practitioners and therapists are supported by the Head of Practice Organization, an eight-member MPA team, and one trainee. Everyone working in the outpatient clinic is trained to complement conventional medicine through the integrative approach of Anthroposophical Medicine. The outpatient clinic is a department of Klinik Arlesheim AG.

For the Ita Wegman Ambulatorium (IWA) near the Markthalle in Basel, we are looking for a Medical Practice Assistant starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks ##

• Responsible for smooth planning and correct preparation of consultations and therapies
• Independent performance of laboratory analyses, spirometry and infusion therapies, external applications (wraps and compresses) as well as writing ECGs
• Recording of services
• General support of the medical team in their activities

You bring with you ##

• Completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant with professional experience
• Good IT skills (Office programs) and ideally experience with INES
• Proficiency of the German language in speaking and writing; English and French skills are an advantage
• Good communication skills, friendly manners and a high customer orientation
• High flexibility, resilience and independent working
