WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU

For the Division Air Defence, we are looking for a Head of Quality Division Air Defence (m/f/d) at the Zurich location at the earliest possible date.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for the strategic and functional management of the Quality function across the Zurich, Rome, and Neuss locations. You will lead the local Heads of Quality functionally and develop a uniform framework for quality strategy, processes, standards, and KPIs.

You report to the COO of the Division and work closely with the division management, the site managements, and the relevant corporate functions.

Specifically, you will undertake the following tasks:

• Development and implementation of the quality strategy for the Division Air Defence
• Functional leadership and technical management of the Heads of Quality at the Zurich, Rome, and Neuss locations
• Establishment and further development of a uniform Quality Governance across the Division
• Harmonization of quality processes, methods, and standards across the locations
• Definition and implementation of a uniform quality KPI and reporting system - analysis and benchmarking of quality performance as well as derivation and implementation of improvement measures
• Coordination of cross-location CAPA, 8D, and Root-Cause activities as well as escalation of significant quality risks
• Ensuring the implementation of relevant quality and certification requirements as well as coordination of divisional audit activities
• Further development of supplier and product quality management with cross-location relevance
• Promotion of cross-location knowledge and best-practice exchange as well as a shared quality culture

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed studies in the field of engineering, quality management, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in an operational quality leadership function in a regulated industrial environment
• Experience in cross-location leadership or harmonization of quality organizations and systems
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, or comparable quality standards
• Good knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma as well as common quality methods, especially 8D, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis
• Experience in matrix management without direct disciplinary leadership responsibility
• Strong analytical and strategic skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High communication and assertiveness skills as well as experience in stakeholder management at different hierarchical levels
• International and intercultural experience
• Business fluent German and English skills; Italian is an advantage
