We are looking for a maternity leave replacement for the Schulinsel in the Primarschulhaus Steingut.

The Schulinsel is a place for students who, for various reasons, are not able to participate in regular classes. They receive a catch-up and support structure there - with the goal of staying in the learning process and developing behavioral and work strategies to return successfully to their class after a short time.

We are looking for a committed person for the further development of the Schulinsel, limited from November 2026 to February 2027 with an option for a permanent position.

Start date: 1. November 2026

In this exciting job ##

• you will lead the Schulinsel in pedagogical, organizational, and administrative matters.
• you will supervise the students during their stay on the Schulinsel.
• you will promote them individually in agreement with the teachers.
• you will maintain the exchange and cooperation with teachers, school social work, school management, and other contact persons.

You will be successful here ##

• with several years of professional experience as a Sozialpädagogin or Sozialpädagoge or an equivalent qualification.
• due to your enjoyment and experience in dealing with children and young people.
• if you are empathetic, assertive, team-capable, and socially and communicatively strong.
• because you bring a high degree of flexibility and creativity in dealing with situational requirements.
• if you are willing to further develop something established.
