Software Project Manager

As an experienced Software Project Manager, you will take responsibility for external customer projects in the software environment – from initialization through planning and implementation to successful introduction. You create clarity regarding goals, scope, budget, deadlines, priorities, risks and next steps and ensure that complex projects progress in a structured, binding and solution-oriented manner.

You are the central contact person for customers and internal stakeholders during the project phase. You coordinate the implementation closely with the Product Owners, who act as the central interface to the development teams. In doing so, you maintain an overview of costs, deadlines and scope of services at all times, recognize deviations early and clarify them transparently and in a solution-oriented manner with the customer.

With us, you will:

• independently plan, control and successfully bring demanding software projects to introduction for customers
• act as the central contact person for customers, stakeholders, Product Owners and internal departments
• actively manage project goals, scope, budget, deadlines, priorities, risks and dependencies
• structurally record, evaluate and integrate change requests, further developments and new requirements into project and budget planning
• ensure clear decisions, binding next steps and a clean handover into the ongoing service

You are experienced in, among other things, with:

• project management in the software environment
• stakeholder, prioritization and risk management
• scope, budget, deadline and expectation management
• Requirements Engineering, solution design and change management at the control and coordination level
• technical basics of software development as well as cooperation with Product Owners and departments

You bring with you:

• sound experience in leading software projects with external customers
• the ability to confidently structure complex project contexts and manage multiple topics in parallel
• a high degree of reliability, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
• a good sense for priorities, risks, quality, customer needs and realistic planning
• very good German and English skills in spoken and written; French and/or Italian skills are a plus
