Production Manager - Transport (m/f/d)

What you can set in motion.

• As Production Manager - Transport, you will supervise and coach 4 to 7 team leaders as well as approximately 70 to 200 employees within one of the West, Central, or East production regions. You act as a role model and are committed to the development of your teams.
• You will leverage your numerous skills in leading your team leaders and your teams and, through your work, contribute to organizational and cultural development in a highly demanding environment.
• As the person responsible for safety and compliance with quality and cost requirements of the teams, you guarantee smooth operation as well as the execution of services ordered by customers.
• You accompany transformation projects, manage sub-projects, and handle and take responsibility for specialized topics within the region, on an interregional basis, or at the scale of CFF Cargo.
• Depending on the organization of the relevant region, you assume the replacements of the regional management or other functions in case of absence and support the region through your expertise in its strategic development.
• As Production Manager - Transport, you represent the interests of CFF Cargo and hold an important interlocutor role with internal and external partners.

• You have several years of experience in logistics within a production company. Furthermore, you have experience in development-oriented and results-oriented leadership, as well as in project and/or process management, and organizational development.
• A university or HEP/HES level education (university, university of applied sciences) in the field of leadership, management, or business administration is required.
• For this position, a guaranteed mastery of German or French, both orally and in writing, is required. Furthermore, you are – if not already the case – willing to learn another national language.
