About us
Barcal Automobile AG is a Volkswagen and Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge partner garage in Zürich Altstetten. Our company was founded in 1977 and today consists of a dedicated team of eight employees, including two apprentices.
To strengthen our family-like team, we are looking for a motivated Automotive Mechatronics Technician as of 1. September 2026 or by arrangement.

Your tasks
Carrying out maintenance, service, and repair work on vehicles of the brands Volkswagen and Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge
Diagnosis and rectification of technical as well as electronic faults
Assembly and disassembly of vehicle parts as well as retrofitting of accessories
Ensuring work quality and compliance with manufacturer specifications
Technical advice and support for our customers
Close cooperation with the workshop management as well as independent reporting of work orders

What you bring with you
Completed training as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician EFZ
Several years of professional experience
Valid driving license category B
Resilient, proactive, and precise way of working
Motivation to achieve great things even in a small team
Experience with Volkswagen and Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge is an advantage
A good dose of humor
