The Clinique de la Plaine is a human-sized establishment located in the heart of Geneva. Specialized in outpatient surgery and short-term hospitalization, the Clinique de la Plaine offers a state-of-the-art operating platform to its patients and independent surgeons. Its small size allows it to offer attentive and personalized care.

We are looking for a:

Head of Operating Room and Care (100%)

Your mission

Attached to the Management, you ensure the management, organization, and development of the following sectors:

• Operating room
• Sterilization
• Day and hospitalization unit
• You guarantee the quality and safety of care, coordinate the care teams, and actively participate in the strategic development of the establishment.

Your main responsibilities

• Ensure the proper functioning of the operating room and coordinate activity with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and internal services.
• Supervise, support, and develop the care teams.
• Supervise sterilization and accommodation units.
• Guarantee the quality, safety, and compliance of care.
• Participate in the development and updating of institutional procedures.
• Organize schedules and optimize human and material resources.
• Participate in the development of quality in accordance with the requirements of the quality convention (CQ) and art.58a LAMal.
• Ensure the monitoring of quality indicators, ANQ measures, and Swissnoso.
• Ensure the management of equipment, orders, and stocks.
• Collaborate closely with Management, HR, accounting, and various internal and external partners.

Your profile

• IDDO or IBODE diploma.
• Sterilization training (level 1 minimum).
• Confirmed experience in managing an operating room.
• Team management experience.
• Mastery of computer tools, particularly Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of the OPALE software.
• English level B1, an asset.
