As a Specialist Operation Technology HF, Specialist Operation Technology HF, or Dipl. Nursing Specialist FA OP, you do not only want to apply your expertise in the operating room, but also pass it on to the next generation of professionals. For a renowned private clinic in Zürich, we are looking for a committed personality with a workload of 80 to 100% as of immediately or by arrangement. In this versatile function, you combine operative excellence with a responsible vocational trainer function and accompany students during their practical training.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• Scrubbing and assisting during operative procedures in a chosen surgical specialty group
• Implementation of all preparatory and post-operative measures in the operating room
• Professional preparation and operation of devices, instruments, and sterile goods
• Monitoring and care of patients under local anesthesia
• Documentation of nursing activities including performance recording
• Ensuring a smooth daily routine in the operating area
• Participation in highly specialized surgical procedures
• Close cooperation with female surgeons, male surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams

Additionally as a female or male Vocational Trainer

• Technical and pedagogical accompaniment of students during their practical training
• Implementation of the educational mandate according to the training concept
• Support of students in the development of professional and personal competencies
• Close cooperation with management and specialist supervisors
• Participation in the further development of training quality

What you bring with you

• Completed training as Specialist Operation Technology HF or Specialist Operation Technology HF or as Dipl. Nursing Specialist or Dipl. Nursing Specialist FA OP
• Completed SVEB course or willingness to complete it
• Several years of professional experience in the acute care sector
• Joy in the training and accompaniment of students
• Willingness to perform weekend, on-call, and night shifts
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
