Our goal is to develop knowledge to exploit grassland surfaces in such a way that they not only provide high-quality forage produced on-site, but also offer a wide range of ecosystem services. To this end, we conduct research on efficient management adapted to particular local conditions, on new mixtures for artificial meadows and on the management of natural ones. Understanding the ecological processes taking place in meadows and pastures helps us to use their resources sustainably and to prepare them to face current challenges, such as climate change.
