Project Manager – Construction – 100%

For an important partner of the Canton of Fribourg, active in the realization of technical and demanding construction projects, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager wishing to take full responsibility for projects, from their preparation to their final realization.

Project Manager – Construction (M/F) – 100%

Your responsibilities:
Take charge of the complete management of the projects entrusted to you, from their launch to their final realization
Plan, organize, and coordinate the different phases of the projects
Ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality standards
Manage several projects simultaneously and ensure regular monitoring of their progress
Coordinate the different internal and external interlocutors: clients, engineers, architects, technical office, production, suppliers, and partners
Analyze technical documents and identify any necessary discrepancies or adaptations
Ensure the financial monitoring of projects, notably costs, additional services, and extra work
Organize and lead project launch and follow-up meetings
Coordinate the stages related to planning, production, delivery, and assembly
Perform site visits and ensure monitoring of the proper execution of the work
Organize and document the different handovers of work
Guarantee fluid communication between all stakeholders
Ensure regular reporting to your manager
Actively participate in the improvement of processes and the development of modern and digitized working methods

Your profile:
Completed professional training in the field of construction, technical drawing, site management, or training deemed equivalent
Additional training in project management is a real advantage
Several years of experience in project management in the construction sector
Experience in the simultaneous management of projects of different sizes and complexities
Very good technical understanding and excellent ability to read plans
Knowledge of 3D design and CAD tools appreciated
Experience with Tekla Structures, BIM, or 3D planning tools constitutes a serious advantage
Good mastery of usual IT tools, notably Microsoft Office
Developed sense of responsibility and priorities
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Communicative, autonomous, and solution-oriented personality
Ability to defend the interests of a project while maintaining excellent relations with clients and partners
Analytical, pragmatic, and commercial spirit
Ability to work with several interlocutors and to manage unforeseen events with efficiency
Strong orientation towards quality, costs, and deadlines
