Ward Manager / Ward Manager Nursing 80 - 100 % Zürich

Leadership in oncology means accompanying people through challenging situations while simultaneously ensuring structure, quality, and team dynamics. As a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau or Dipl. Pflegefachmann HF/FH, you will take on a central leadership role as a Ward Manager or Ward Manager of an inpatient ward with a focus on oncology in Zurich on behalf of our client. With a workload of 80 to 100 %, you will bear responsibility for nursing quality, team leadership, and a structured ward routine in a demanding acute setting. This position is available immediately or by arrangement.

What awaits you in this challenging task

• Overall responsibility for the personnel, professional, and organizational leadership of an inpatient ward
• Ensuring professional, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing care
• Active participation in daily nursing activities as well as planning, controlling, and ensuring efficient personnel deployment
• Participation in processes relevant to certification as well as internal audits
• Promotion, induction, and further development of employees, apprentices, and students
• Close interprofessional cooperation with doctors and other specialist departments

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Pflegefachfrau or Pflegefachmann HF/FH or equivalent training such as Bachelor of Science in Nursing, examinierte Pflegefachkraft, Gesundheits- und Krankenpflegerin or Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger, DGKP
• Several years of professional experience in the acute care sector, ideally in a specialized field
• Several years of leadership experience in a Swiss acute care hospital
• Completed leadership training or willingness to complete it
