• 29 August 2026 • 70 - 100% • Indefinite duration • Fribourg Vacant positions - Job offers at the Université de Fribourg • Knowledge Security & Nagoya Compliance Manager 70 - 100% with Knowledge and Technology Transfer Field of activity The Université de Fribourg is looking for a Knowledge Security & Nagoya Compliance Manager (70-100) to ensure institutional compliance with Swiss and international regulations on export control, knowledge security practices, and the Nagoya Protocol. Integrated into the Knowledge and Technology Transfer (KTT) Unit, the position provides legal and regulatory advice to researchers, administrative units, and institutional stakeholders. Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement. Fixed-term contract: 31.12.2027 Main responsibilities • Develop, implement and monitor the University's export control and knowledge security policy • Advise researchers and staff on Swiss, European and American export control regulations • Support the classification of controlled goods and technologies and coordinate license requests with SECO • Establish and manage compliance procedures according to the Nagoya Protocol • Advise on due diligence, notification and documentation requirements for genetic resources • Organize training and awareness activities on export control, knowledge security and Nagoya compliance • Monitor legislative developments and ensure transparent compliance reporting Requirements • Swiss Master's in law or equivalent • Specialization in export control law and international regulatory frameworks • Experience with compliance systems and regulatory reporting • Very good communication and training skills • Independent, structured and collaborative working style • Proficiency in English and French or German Language requirements other: English Date of entry into office: • 01.10.2026 or date to be agreed Information: Dr. Valeria Mozzetti Rohrseitz valeria.mozzetti@unifr.ch Deadline for receipt of applications: 18.09.2026 Submission address: Through this link.
