Field of activity

Ensure the operation, maintenance and development of the high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure
*
Participate in the development of IT services and platforms dedicated to AI for teaching and research
*
Guarantee the performance, stability, security and optimisation of computing resources for scientific and artificial intelligence needs
*
Deploy, configure and maintain servers, Linux systems, scientific libraries and software components necessary for research activities
*
Administer storage systems, backups, quotas and high-performance network interconnections
*
Define, implement and monitor security measures as well as the compliance of infrastructures and data
*
Support research and teaching teams in the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
*
Contribute to the development of institutional services and platforms dedicated to artificial intelligence for teaching and research.

Provide scientific and technical support for projects requiring HPC, AI or specialised computing environments
*
Deploy and maintain virtualised environments, virtual machines, containers and notebooks intended for research and teaching
*
Collaborate with other teams of the IT Services Directorate to ensure the availability, security and performance of IT services
*
Participate in technological watch in the fields of scientific computing, artificial intelligence and Linux infrastructures
*
Write and maintain technical and user documentation
Requirements
*
Master's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
*
Experience in Linux system administration and scientific infrastructures
*
Skills in scripting (Python, Bash or equivalent)
*
Experience or good knowledge of HPC environments, computing clusters and CPU/GPU resource management
*
Knowledge of virtualisation, containerisation technologies and computing environments for research
*
Interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
*
Ability to interact with researchers and teachers from various disciplines
*
Service-oriented, autonomous, analytical mindset and ability to work in a team
*
Fluency in French or German, with good knowledge of the other language, as well as proficiency in written and spoken English
