Your role:
In this position, reporting to the VP of Operations, you will oversee purchasing, planning, logistics, and inventory management, with a particular focus on managing the complexities related to component procurement in the electronics industry. You will play a key role in modernizing our digital infrastructure through the implementation of an ERP and aligning cross-functional teams around a robust S&OP framework.
What you will take charge of:
• Electronics purchasing and procurement strategy: Lead strategic purchasing of electronic components (semiconductors, printed circuit boards, passive components), manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, mitigate supply continuity risks, and optimize costs.
• S&OP implementation and steering: Establish, mature, and lead a structured Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to harmonize demand forecasting, capacity planning, and financial goals between sales, operations, and finance.
• ERP system launch and optimization: Drive the implementation and integration of a modern ERP system within the supply chain function. Map workflows, standardize master data, and leverage ERP capabilities to improve inventory visibility and operational efficiency.
• Operations and logistics management: Oversee global logistics, warehousing, customs compliance, and inventory control to balance a high level of delivery satisfaction with minimal carrying costs.
• Leadership and team development: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing supply chain and procurement team (6 people), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and analytical decision-making.
Your profile:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• More than 8 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, with solid experience in hardware manufacturing, electronics, or high-tech equipment.
• More than 5 years of experience in operational and strategic procurement.
• Deep hands-on experience in electronic component procurement, global supplier management, and component lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in implementing, migrating, or significantly scaling an enterprise ERP system (Odoo is a plus).
• Demonstrated success in designing and managing an enterprise S&OP cycle from its inception.
• Native or fluent mastery of English and French (both written and spoken) is strictly required.
• Demanding leadership with excellent communication skills, ability to provide clear vision and precise objectives. Highly competent and methodical in change management.
