Train Driver in Category B Passenger Transport

This is what you can move.

• As a Category B train driver, you take the lead of the train and the responsibility for the safety, punctuality, and reliability of the heavily trafficked rail network.
• You are the specialist for the independent operation of various locomotives and multiple units on the assigned route network.
• Observing all safety-relevant regulations to ensure an orderly and smooth operational process is a matter of course for you.
• In addition, you are responsible for the preparation and post-processing of the trains.
• You act independently, are in contact with operations centers and control centers at all times, and ensure customer information.
• Ongoing further training within the field of responsibility is also, of course, part of it.

This is what you bring with you.

• You are physically and mentally resilient and can react quickly and correctly with your independent way of working.
• You have successfully completed the training to be a Kat B train driver and bring initial professional experience as a train driver (standard gauge). Should this not yet be the case, inform yourself about our second training under www.sbb.ch/lokpersonal
• You are business fluent in German, orally and in writing (at least level C1), and bring knowledge of French at level A1 (SBB internal: A1+).
