The Age and Care sector of the city of Winterthur trains approximately 120 apprentices in 7 different professions every year. Our training is practice-oriented, varied and offers you many career possibilities. With us, you work in a lively and meaningful environment.

In the two-year basic vocational training as an assistant in health and social care, you support residents in their daily lives. You assume tasks delegated by specialized staff and work in a team with different professional groups.

Your tasks ##

• * Support the care and support of people with disabilities
• * Perform household tasks
• * Create relationships and organize daily life
• * Small administrative tasks
• Your profile ##
• * Secondary school B or C with good grades
• * Ease of contact, communication skills and teamwork
• * Practical understanding and dexterity
• * Good physical and mental health as well as resistance to stress
• * Availability for irregular hours
