Apprentice Production Mechanic (CFC)

Job Description

You will develop varied technical skills and learn to intervene in the entire manufacturing process. You will be required to:

• Read and interpret technical drawings -- understand dimensions, tolerances and the requirements necessary for production
• Precision machining -- learning traditional and CNC machining techniques (turning, milling, drilling, grinding)
• Fabrication of parts -- realization of components according to technical plans and strict dimensional requirements
• Quality control -- verification of dimensions, surface states and compliance using measuring instruments (micrometer, profile projector, dial indicator)
• Reading of plans -- interpretation of technical drawings, understanding of tolerances and specifications
• Basic maintenance -- routine maintenance of machines and the workstation

• Marked interest in mechanics -- natural motivation to understand, manipulate and assemble mechanical elements
• Ease in technical and mathematical subjects -- facility in approaching scientific and logical notions
