First Track SA is a company founded in 2018 and based in Le Châble, VS. Specializing in the development and production of Swiss Made skis for brands, we are revolutionizing the sector by introducing a new industrial model: the creation of the world's first 4.0 factory dedicated to ski manufacturing.

Today, we are working on a pilot production line with a capacity of 3'000 units per year. We have ambitious growth objectives and to reach these objectives, we are building a solid team, composed of motivated people, sharing a common entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to grow with the project.

MISSIONS
As a ski production operator, your main mission will be to manufacture components and assemble skis. You will be trained in different areas of production, from raw material preparation to the assembly and finishing of skis.

You may be assigned to one or more of the following areas:

• Ski pressing: assembly of all ski components with epoxy resin and pressing.
• Top sheet printing: printing of ski top sheets using a digital UV printer.
• Component cutting: cutting of ski bases, fibers and other components using a CNC machine.
• Wood core processing: milling and assembly of wood cores with a CNC machine.
• Ski finishing: manual finishing of skis with a band saw, a sander and portable tools

Your role will consist of operating production machines (CNC cutters, CNC drills, etc.) and performing manual work. Both tasks can be repetitive due to our orientation towards mass production.

PROFILE

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

• No specific diploma required.
• Expertise in the ski/snowboard industry is a plus.
• Swiss nationality or with a valid work permit for Switzerland.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• More than 3 years of experience in manual trades.
• Mastery of French (min. C1).
• Knowledge of English (min. B1).

• Versatile, flexible and adaptable.
• Strong concern for quality, consistency and attention to detail.
• Well organized with a natural interest in continuous optimization.
• Passion for skiing and other sliding sports is a plus.
