For the Expertise and Analysis section, we are looking for a

Your tasks

• Technical and administrative leadership of the Radioanalytical Environmental Analysis group
• Management of the accredited service laboratory for the field of radioanalytical environmental analysis
• Ensuring laboratory operations: emission and immission balancing of radionuclides, radiochemical incorporation analysis, as well as external customer support
• Method development in radioanalysis with a focus on environmental monitoring
• Preparation of reports, scientific publications, and quality management documents
• Participation in the PSI emergency organisation (NFO)

Your profile

• University degree with a scientific focus and a doctorate
• Broad expertise with high competence in the fields of analytical chemistry, incorporation analysis, inorganic-chemical separation methods, and quantitative determination of radionuclides using alpha, beta, and gamma spectrometry
• Experience with quality standards, such as ISO 17025 accreditation
• IT and software knowledge in a laboratory environment (e.g. LIMS)
• Fluent in German and English
