Tasks

• Timely and audit-proof coding of all specialties for inpatient treatments according to the applicable coding rules (BfS guidelines, SwissDRG)
• Support in the continuous improvement of documentation and coding quality and the interfaces to hospital operations
• Assistance in processing health insurance rejections
• Interdisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

• Sound experience in medical coding, the DRG system with ICD 10 and CHOP, as well as billing and treatment processes in the hospital
• Training as a doctor or nursing professional with additional training (e.g., ICU, anesthesia, OR, emergency) ideally with a federal specialist certificate
• Structured, independent and careful way of working with a high sense of responsibility
• Confident handling of digital tools and MS-Office
