For an established industrial company in the Bern area, we are looking for an entrepreneurially-minded leader who will develop the technical area both operationally and strategically. In this key position, you will take responsibility for the technical infrastructure, lead a well-established team, and actively drive optimizations and investment projects.

Your tasks:

• Overall responsibility for the technical area as well as ensuring high plant availability
• Leadership, promotion, and further development of a team of maintenance and technical specialists
• Planning, controlling, and implementation of technical projects and investments
• Continuous optimization of processes, plants, and technical workflows
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Close cooperation with production, quality assurance, and other specialist departments
• Responsibility for maintenance strategies, documentation, and technical standards
• Support during audits as well as accompanying modernization and improvement projects

Your profile:

• Technical basic training with further training at HF, FH, or comparable level
• Several years of experience in a leadership function in an industrial environment
• Experience in the areas of maintenance, production technology, or plant management
• Knowledge in project management as well as in the implementation of technical optimizations
• Confident handling of ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
• Strong-communicating, solution-oriented, and assertive personality
• Hands-on mentality as well as enjoyment in actively shaping changes
