Your activities

• Operating: You set up state-of-the-art production and extrusion systems for fiber optic cable manufacturing and operate them independently.
• Monitoring: You control the complex manufacturing processes and ensure the continuous supply of raw materials.
• Quality: You perform continuous quality controls and precision measurements on the running cable.
• Maintenance: Thanks to your mechanical knowledge, you fix minor malfunctions yourself directly and support maintenance work.
• Protocol: You document the production data and material consumption exactly in the system.

Your profile

• Education: Completed basic mechanical training (e.g., Production Mechanic EFZ, Polymechanic EFZ, Automotive Specialist EFZ, Mechanic Practitioner EBA) or an apprenticeship as Plant Operator EFZ with a strong mechanical flair.
• Experience: Ideally, you already have experience in machine operation (extrusion, winding technology, or cable production).
• Working style: You work extremely precisely, with quality awareness, and have a high technical understanding of fine materials.
• Flexibility: You are ready to work in a regular shift system [e.g., 2-shift / 3-shift / 4-shift].
• Language: You have good German skills in speaking and writing (for operating the touch panels and documentation).
