Mission:

Carry out medical genetics analyses in accordance with quality standards, ensure the reliability of results and contribute to the proper functioning and development of laboratory activities.

Main tasks:

• Register laboratory requests.
• Manage and distribute analysis requests.
• Perform molecular biology analyses (qPCR, Fragment Analysis, Sanger sequencing, NGS, NIPT).
• Maintain and perform maintenance on analytical systems.
• Participate in the development of new diagnostic tests and continuous improvement of laboratory services.
• Write and update procedures to ensure traceability and quality of operations.
• Monitor equipment and manage reagents to contribute to the proper functioning of the laboratory.
• Hold a diploma as a Technician in Biomedical Analysis.
• Have experience in a medical genetics laboratory.
• Have practical experience with NGS technologies.
• Have experience in an accredited laboratory.
• Demonstrate rigor, organization and good stress management.
• Show a great ability to adapt to technological developments and changes.
• Master French; knowledge of German, English or Italian is an asset.
