– Independent processing of import and export shipments, including coordination with freight forwarders, carriers and customs authorities
– Creation and processing of export and customs documents, in particular EDEC/Passar customs declarations and certificates of origin (EUR.1)
– Application and processing of Carnets ATA with the Chamber of Commerce
– Preparation of Shipper’s Declarations, SOLAS/VGM documents and other transport papers
– Tariff classification and classification of goods according to the Harmonized System (HS nomenclature) as well as the Swiss customs tariff (Tares)
– Independent calculation and creation of customer offers as well as requesting and comparing quotes from various freight forwarders
– Creation of the required documentation for dangerous goods shipments as well as marking and labeling according to the applicable regulations
– Invoicing for the logistics department as well as control of freight forwarder invoices
– Creation of picking lists and delivery notes
– Telephone and written contact with customers, suppliers and authorities
– General administrative work as well as management of document filing
