Tasks:

• You set up, operate, and control state-of-the-art production equipment in the fiber optic sector.
• You prepare the required material based on the production documents and check it before production starts.
• You monitor the entire manufacturing process attentively and independently make adjustments in the event of deviations.
• You carry out continuous intermediate and self-checks to meet the high quality standard.
• You check the finished cable products using precise measurement methods.
• You decide on the release or blocking of the manufactured batches based on the specifications.
• You record all test values and measurement results without gaps and create the corresponding test certificates.
• You ensure that the inspected items are handed over to logistics or the warehouse on time.
• You keep an eye on the operational readiness of the measuring and testing equipment and manage them carefully.
• You ensure a clean, tidy workplace and strictly adhere to all occupational safety specifications.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you have completed vocational training in the technical or manual sector.
• You already bring sound practical experience from a commercial or industrial environment.
• You have a strong technical understanding as well as a quick grasp.
• You convince through an exact, independent, and quality-oriented way of working.
• Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in setting up and controlling machines.
• You possess logical thinking abilities and are characterized by a high sense of responsibility.
• You master the German language in spoken and written form without problems.
• You are proficient in using common MS Office programs.
• You are a true team player who remains resilient and reliable even in hectic phases.
• You have the necessary physical fitness to safely handle heavier cable reels.
