• the association of the electrical industry of the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Baselland is the provider of the training center ABZ in Basel-Stadt and Pratteln.

Over 700 apprentices (Elektroinstallateurin EFZ, Montage-Elektrikerin EFZ, Gebäudeinformatikerin EFZ and Elektroplanerin EFZ) complete their inter-company courses at ABZ-Basel-Stadt and Pratteln.
To strengthen the ABZ team, we are looking for, as of 1. January 2027 or by arrangement, a/an
Vocational Trainer in the field of Electrical (üK) inter-company courses (100%)
– for the apprenticeship professions Elektroinstallateurin EFZ and Montage-Elektrikerin EFZ
Tasks
Teaching apprentices (Elektroinstallateurin and Montage-Elektrikerin)
Accompanying individual learning processes and monitoring progress
Creating and adapting learning materials
Creating the course curriculum and managing course administration
Participation in the qualification procedure
Requirements
Training as Elektromonteurin EFZ or Elektroinstallateurin EFZ
Higher further education or several years of professional experience (approx. 5 years)
Pedagogical interest or willingness to undergo training as a vocational trainer
Enjoyment of teaching and interacting with young people
Independent, communicative, resilient
Team player and open to modern learning methods
Basic knowledge of Office and digital learning media
Personal Profile
Patient, empathetic and motivated
Actively supports the development of apprentices
Interest in further education (didactics/methodology)
Good cooperation in the team
