Planning and Logistics

Checking delivered goods for quality and quantity
Professional storage of perishable goods such as meat, vegetables, fish, or fruit in cold rooms or freezers
Monitoring stock levels and expiration dates. Sorting out and disposing of spoiled goods

Preparation/Production of meals/Post-processing
Butchering meat, cleaning vegetables or salad, portioning fish
Production and preparation of all required meals and use of modern cooking techniques. In particular the production of soups, salads and other cold side dishes, warm meat dishes, fish dishes and sauces, warm side dishes, desserts and pastries
Plating meals and garnishing them to be visually appealing
Cleaning of pots, pans, microwave appliances, deep fryers, roasting and baking ovens, mixing and kneading machines under strict observance of hygienic requirements
Disposal of prepared but unused food and ingredients

Cleaning of the kitchen and the special rooms, see work processes and task lists
Reporting defective devices to: Person responsible for kitchen or the Technical Service
