Director of Christian Science Nursing

Le Verger is calling for applications for
a position of Director of Christian Science Nursing (DCSN), male or female.
Le Verger is a non-profit association
whose mission is 'to bear witness to universal
divine healing.' No medical treatment
is provided at Le Verger; patients
rely solely on Christian
Science for healing through prayer.

Based in Bursins, near Lake Geneva in Switzerland,
Le Verger cares for patients from all over Europe
and beyond, in their own homes or in our care
house. We speak four languages
(French, German, English and Portuguese) and
are currently the only accredited Christian
Science Nursing facility in
continental Europe.

The required qualifications are
the following:

• Must possess demonstrable knowledge

of Christian Science theology and practice.

• Have completed Christian Science Nursing

training through an accredited program.

• Be a member of the Mother Church as well as

a branch church or society.
Have completed the Christian Science Primary
Course.
Have one's card in the most recent issue of
the magazine The Christian Science Journal.

• Meet the requirements of Article VIII,

section 31, 'Christian Science Nurse,'
in the Manual of the Mother Church.
Meet the requirements of the Christian Science
Nursing Field of Action.

• Express the qualities of a nurse as

described in Science and Health with the Key
to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy 395: 18.
Displays great metaphysical availability and an
ability to inspire others.
Demonstrates a strong capacity to collaborate,
lead, and supervise.
Has the ability to manage the Christian Science
nursing floor.
Possesses substantial experience in meeting
Christian Science nursing needs with appropriate
skills and an understanding of Christian Science
theology and Christian Science nursing ethics.
Has the ability to create and manage high-performing teams.

Knowledge of French and/or English
is highly desirable, and any other language will
be an asset. Current language skills do not
necessarily have to be an obstacle; an aptitude
for languages and a willingness to learn
French are acceptable.
