Sociocultural Animator at 80% - TSHM Meyrin Transit

Ensure proximity prevention and mediation work with young people experiencing a breakdown in social ties and/or seeking social integration, through various means such as street work, sport, managed premises, small jobs, etc. Ensure the organization and management of a drop-in center (reception, information, listening, CV, project, etc.) and guarantee a quality social link with young people aged 12 to 25 from the municipality. Based on observed social issues, and as part of a team of 8 professionals, participate in the development of collective work, in close collaboration with social workers in the region, existing social structures, and municipal authorities. Actively participate in the conceptualization and implementation of targeted actions. Undertake management and organizational tasks in connection with the activities and objectives set by the FASe and the municipality. Hold a Bachelor's degree in social work, HES level, or an equivalent university degree. Experience in out-of-walls social action (street work, managed premises, support for sporting and musical activities, jobs and construction sites). Knowledge of the characteristics of the young population, strong interest and demonstrated abilities for working with adolescents / young adults. Good knowledge and practice in project methodology and situational diagnosis; good ability to read complex situations. Skills for network work: collaboration with social actors in the municipality and the canton, and local institutions; good knowledge of the Geneva social network. Ability to work autonomously, while actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, a manager, and a regional coordinator, in coherence and respect with other social workers in the region and the requests of the Institution. Sense of initiative, creativity, sense of responsibility, flexibility, dynamism. Good experience in organization and planning, management of priorities and emergencies. Ability to write reports, use standard computer software, rigor and respect for deadlines. Openness to flexible and irregular hours. Driver's license indispensable.
