Then become part of our team as System Engineer*in Track and Operational Control Systems 80-100 %. Tasks ## You take on technical responsibility for switch, track control, and track safety systems. This essentially includes: • Project planning of components for communication and monitoring • Conception of switch and track systems as well as processing complex technical issues • Carrying out safety technology investigations and creating the corresponding safety proofs • Coordination of implementation with internal and external project partners • Development and introduction of technical developments in cooperation with system suppliers and internal departments • Support of the maintenance organizations during malfunctions Further components of your activity: • Creation of concept and schematic drawings as well as technical proofs • Programming of PLC systems and connection of interfaces to peripheral systems • Participation in tenders, especially regarding requirements specifications, functional specifications, technical specifications, and offer evaluation • Taking on construction management tasks for new and maintenance projects • Accompanying acceptances, quality assurance, and handover until the successful commissioning of the systems Profile ## • You have completed a 4-year apprenticeship as an electrical fitter*in/-mechanic*in or automation technician*in, as well as further training in systems technology, electrical engineering, or a related field at HF or FH level. • You like to roll up your sleeves and bring strong practical and manual skills. • Varied assignments outdoors are a welcome change for you; because you are active directly in the track network around two days per week. • Irregular night and weekend assignments are no problem for you. There are around 5 weekend assignments and 5-10 night assignments per year. • You have knowledge in control and PLC programming as well as in plant construction and are familiar with the relevant technical standards and regulations. Experience in the field of tram and bus systems is an advantage, but not a requirement. • You are characterized by a high awareness of quality and good communication skills.
