What you can achieve • Building and further developing modern platforms with a focus on Kubernetes and container technologies • Development of automation solutions as well as modern CI/CD pipelines • Automation of platform, deployment, and development processes • Use of classic infrastructure and virtualization solutions in specific application cases • Co-designing technical standards, architectures, and best practices in DevOps Engineering • Evaluation and introduction of new technologies and tools surrounding Kubernetes, containers, and automation What you bring with you • University degree in computer science or vocational training as an Informatiker/in EFZ or respective career changer with comparable practical experience • Experience with container technologies and orchestration, especially Kubernetes and OpenShift • Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments • Proficient in handling CI/CD and DevOps platforms such as GitLab or Azure DevOps • Experience in CI/CD, automation, and configuration management using Ansible or comparable technologies • Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, or Proxmox is an advantage • Joy in automating, standardizing, and further developing solutions • Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working • Good German skills; English skills (level B2) are an advantage • Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage Salary and benefits Around 3000 employees from RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make a significant contribution to the security of Switzerland every day.
