Social Pedagogue or Specialist in Childcare, 26 %

We are looking for reinforcement as of 14 September 2026 or by arrangement. Tasks ## As a Social Pedagogue or FaBe, you will be responsible for two days per week (Thursday 10:00-14:00, Friday 09:30-18:00) together with two daycare leaders, four specialist childcare workers, two childcare assistants and one cook in the Betreuung Vogtsrain im Bläsi for primary school students (3rd-6th grade). An open and communicatively strong childcare team awaits you, which is looking forward to getting to know you. Your holidays are taken during school-free periods. More precise details can be discussed in a personal interview with the Betreuung Leitung.   • You help shape the after-school care and leisure activities of children of primary school age • You lead larger groups of children and maintain contact with our parents • In-depth cooperation with teachers and the rest of the school team on the way towards the all-day school (regular exchange, class council, joint events, etc.) • Domestic and administrative work • Planning and implementation of care on school-free days Profile ## • Professional experience in the care of children (after-school care, nursery, home) and a flair for working with children of middle school age • Joy in cooperating with teaching and childcare staff • Openness and commitment in the change process towards the all-day school (start school year 2026/2027) • Flexibility and resilience as well as very good teamwork and communication skills • Solution-oriented attitude in daily work and in dealing with challenges • Hands-on and pragmatic way of working • Humor and a positive basic attitude • Very good German skills • University of Social Work (FH/HF), or an equivalent tertiary-level qualification in the pedagogical field or • Kindergarten and After-school Care Seminar or • Pedagogical University (Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher) or • Apprenticeship as Fachfrau/Fachmann Betreuung or Kleinkindererzieher/in EFZ (mandatory)   (A Swiss equivalence certificate must be attached to all foreign diplomas and professional certificates) We offer ## Die Betreuung Vogtsrain offers you a versatile, independent and responsible activity, a motivated school with a pleasant and appreciative working atmosphere, competent support from team colleagues and the Betreuung Leitung, as well as a progressive salary according to the guidelines of the Schul- und Sportdepartement of the City of Zürich.
