We look forward to getting to know you! 02 Your Task ## • Independent planning, technical management, and implementation of demanding customer projects with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure • Analysis of existing IT infrastructures as well as development of virtualization, migration, and modernization concepts, taking into account security and high availability • Conception and integration of public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions as well as modern HCI and datacenter architectures • Planning and integration of backup, storage, and disaster recovery solutions within complex infrastructure environments • Technical consulting for customers on virtualization, cloud architectures, VMware Security, datacenter modernization, and future infrastructure strategies • Support for Sales and Solution Architecture in PreSales and PostSales, for example during workshops, requirements analyses, technical concepts, offers, and presentations • Coaching and technical know-how transfer within the engineering team as well as support with complex technical issues and escalations • Evaluation of new technologies as well as active further development, automation, and standardization of the existing cloud and infrastructure service portfolio 03 Benefits ## • Participation in external continuing education • Independent organization of daily business • Flat hierarchies • Flexible working hours • Progressive employment conditions • Guaranteed hybrid or home office work • At least 5 weeks vacation • Modern workplace 04 Your Profile ## • Completed training in computer science as an IT specialist EFZ system engineering as well as ideally further IT training at HF/FH level • Several years of practical experience as a System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Cloud Engineer in demanding customer or enterprise environments • Sound engineering knowledge with VMware vSphere as well as experience with virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V • Good knowledge of the Microsoft cloud environment, especially with Azure and Microsoft 365, as well as understanding of hybrid cloud architectures • Extensive project and migration experience as well as knowledge in backup, storage, network, security, and high availability • Current certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-305, MS-102 or comparable manufacturer certifications are an advantage • Strong consulting competence, enjoyment of direct customer contact, as well as an independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working • Proficient German skills (C2) and very good English skills (at least B2) as well as willingness for continuous professional further education • Possession of a Category B driver's license 05 Good to Know ## • Guaranteed home office of up to 3 working days per week • Modern workplace • Above-average employment conditions with very good social benefits • Free parking, coverage of public transport subscription or participation in your commute • Financial participation in continuing education • Workation up to 4 weeks / year
