Seniority Level Employee Job Category Electrical & Mechanics Percentage 100 % Job Type Permanent - Full-time Reference No. LVI-EM-F-55422 Description ### For a Swiss industrial company that manufactures precise metal and special components for the gas turbine, aero, and aerospace industry as well as other demanding industrial sectors, we are looking for an independent and motivated Polymechanic specializing in laser (m/f/d) ### Your tasks ### • Setting up, operating and maintaining 2D and 3D lasers (3-axis and 5-axis drilling and cutting lasers) as well as marking lasers • Programming with FASTSUITE, TruTops as well as the marking laser • Manufacture and testing of workpieces made of nickel and cobalt-based alloys • Ensuring order and cleanliness at the workstations and machines • Carrying out standard maintenance on the systems including the NADCAP-certified machines Creation of setup documents for new products • Participation in the continuous improvement process (CIP) Your profile ### • Completed technical training (e.g., polymechanic, CNC miller or plant and apparatus builder) with 3D programming experience • Several years of professional experience in the field of laser processing desirable • Knowledge of Siemens, ABB, PowerMark (Minelli) and S94P controls • High degree of precision and attention to detail • Ability to work in a team and good communication skills • Willingness to learn and perform as well as resilience • Very good German skills in speaking and writing, basic English skills • You know how to appreciate the advantages of 2-shift operation What is offered ### • Interesting, non-routine area of responsibility in a technically demanding industry • Modern infrastructure with a varied parts portfolio • Staff restaurant • Free parking and free coffee.
