Portrait of the school/institution ### The Schule für Gestaltung Bern und Biel is the competence center of the Canton of Bern for design, communication, media and art. At the vocational school, over 900 learners are trained in 17 professions. Mandatory physical education strengthens movement, health, self-responsibility and teamwork skills. As of August 1, 2027, we are looking for a personality as Subject Group Leader Sport / Sport Teacher Vocational School (m/f/d) approx. 60-70 % (16-18 weekly lessons) ### Schule für Gestaltung Bern und Biel 3066 Stettlen Tasks ### • You take over the professional leadership of the Sport subject group, coordinate the team, plan teaching assignments and the use of sports facilities and further develop the physical education lessons. - You plan, teach and evaluate 16 to 18 weekly lessons of mandatory physical education in EBA and EFZ basic training. - You design safe, motivating and differentiated learning settings for different learning requirements, assess the learners in a comprehensible manner and promote movement, health, self-responsibility and teamwork skills. In addition, you participate in sporting events, school sports projects and quality development. Requirements ### • You have a gymnasium teaching qualification for sport, a teaching qualification for compulsory school with the necessary additional professional qualification in sport or a qualification recognized as equivalent. - You bring several years of teaching experience as well as experience in professional leadership or the willingness to take this on, ideally at the secondary level II. - You lead cooperatively, communicate clearly and appreciatively and work independently and reliably. Joy in dealing with young people as well as openness to different sports and performance levels round off your profile.
