Automation Technician

• 18 August 2026 • 100% • Temporary • Fribourg On behalf of an establishment active in the field of health, social sciences, and alternative sciences located in the canton of Fribourg, we are looking for an automation technician with initial professional training. The position is oriented towards the maintenance, optimization, and monitoring of technical installations and automated equipment used in a patient care and service environment. You will intervene on existing systems, ensure their reliable operation, and participate in targeted improvements, while respecting strict internal procedures and quality requirements specific to the health sector. You will work in close collaboration with multidisciplinary technical teams, but also with nursing and administrative staff, taking into account hygiene, safety, and continuity of service constraints. The position requires a good understanding of technical processes, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to document your interventions in a structured and legible manner. Responsibilities • Ensure the operation and preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices • Ensure the integration of medical devices into the HFR computer network • Manage and install software related to medical devices • Implement and apply legal regulations (MDR) • Assist and advise medical services in the use of medical devices • Ensure administrative tasks and documentation related to the mission Profile • CFC focused on technical aspects, preferably biomedical • Knowledge of medical devices and the hospital environment is an asset • Advanced knowledge in IT • Curious, proactive, and committed personality with the ability to work in a team • Personal willingness for self-training and strong customer service orientation • Mastery of office tools (notably Word and Excel) • Knowledge of CMMS; « Waveware » is seen as an advantage • Mastery of the French or German language with good knowledge of the other language is desired, knowledge of English is an advantage Benefits • Fixed position located in Fribourg in the health sector, • Contractual conditions in accordance with the practices of the sector and the region, including a salary adapted to the requirements of the automation technician position. • Schedules planned in advance, allowing for a clear organization of working time and rest. • Organized working environment with established procedures aimed at guaranteeing the safety of people and technical installations.
