In this versatile role, you ensure stable and secure systems and bring your experience to demanding projects. Senior System Engineer (all) # Your tasks • You continuously operate, secure and develop our on-site data center and server infrastructure • You plan, implement and administer virtualization environments as well as our NetApp storage landscape • You design and optimize backup solutions with Veeam as well as high-performance monitoring systems for our systems • The Windows domain including Active Directory, certificate services, GPO, DNS and DHCP is your responsibility. Additionally, you operate and develop the public key infrastructure (certificate services) as well as multi-factor authentication (MFA) via smart card • You manage Linux systems and develop targeted cybersecurity measures in OT and IT environments • You bring your expertise to infrastructure projects, support 2nd and 3rd level support and maintain technical documentation What you bring • A completed basic training in computer science EFZ, a degree from a specialized technical college or a university of applied sciences in computer science or an equivalent qualification • Several years of experience as a system engineer, ideally in an OT or industrial environment • Excellent knowledge of data center, server and virtualization technologies as well as NetApp storage systems • You possess excellent Linux skills as well as experience with backup solutions, monitoring systems and Windows domains; experience in client engineering and software packaging is an advantage • You apply your deep understanding of cybersecurity in a safe and practical manner • You work independently, structured and solution-oriented and communicate easily in German and English We do not wish to receive applications from recruitment agencies.
