Start of position: per sofort or by arrangement Work location: Gampelen The Justizvollzugsanstalt Witzwil executes sentences and measures on 184 adult men in open penal execution as well as in administrative detention under foreign law. The inmates are guided and promoted in various professions in agriculture, trade, and supply according to labor pedagogical principles. In penal execution, around 140 employees work consistently towards the goal of socialization and reduction of recidivism of the prisoners. Production goals and execution goals do not compete, but rather complement each other. Your tasks <br /> • As a Security Service employee, you perform security, supervision, and intervention tasks daily during 24 hours in a 3-shift operation • You are responsible for the security of the staff, the admitted persons, the visitors and for the protection of the public • You are responsible for the professional and proper execution of person, presence, material, and narcotic controls as well as receiving and processing telephone calls • You know the procedures in emergencies and crisis situations and accompany the admitted persons during transfers • The monitoring and control of the security systems and administrative work, such as creating reports, documenting work processes and recording events, round off your area of responsibility • You work interdisciplinary with other departments • You perform weekend and on-call duties on a rotational basis <br /> Your profile <br /> • You have an unblemished reputation and a completed vocational training with an eidg.
