Fullstack Engineer (Java/Angular)

• IT - Software Engineering • Bern • Contracting • Part-time, 80-100% • 01.09.2026 - 31.12.2026 (with option to extend) • Java, Angular, OpenShift Your tasks: • Development of modern applications in the frontend and backend with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript and Angular • Active participation in the further development and modernization of highly available, business-critical systems • Analysis of functional requirements and implementation of user stories in close cooperation with developers, business analysts and specialist departments • Responsibility for the technical design and the further development of complex system landscapes • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as preparation and execution of tests • Support of the operation of the applications as well as participation in error analysis, troubleshooting and user support • Participation in an agile environment according to Scrum and SAFe as well as active contribution to continuous improvement • Contribution of new technologies, methods and best practices for the further development of the solutions • Support of team members with technical questions and knowledge exchange within the team • Ensuring compliance with security and quality requirements   Your profile: • At least 3 years of experience as a fullstack developer with Java and TypeScript • Sound knowledge of Angular, Spring Boot as well as modern development standards and best practices • Practical experience with OpenShift or comparable Kubernetes-based platforms • Experience with Kafka, MongoDB or comparable message queue systems and NoSQL databases • Good knowledge of event-driven architectures and distributed systems • Experience in a CI/CD environment as well as enjoyment of agile working methods • Strong interest in new technologies, development patterns and innovative solution approaches • Independent, responsible and structured way of working • High team orientation as well as strong communication skills • Willingness to take responsibility for technical topics and to support less experienced team members • Awareness of security topics and security-conscious action in software development • Very good German skills, as well as good English skills
