The Social and Society division with the departments of Administration/Accounting, Specialist Center Society, Youth and Family Support and Social Services, supports and accompanies people in difficult personal, social and economic life situations. Designed as a preventive and advisory service, the Specialist Center Society ensures low-threshold access to social services for citizens of the city of Rorschach. As a maternity replacement, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, one Social Worker Specialist Center Society 60-80% (temporary until 30.06.2027) ## Your activities essentially include: • Voluntary social counseling for residents of the city of Rorschach on the following topics: living in Rorschach - leisure - housing - health - securing existence - language - coexistence and integration - family - networking. • Participation in open short consultations in the Info*Büro • Participation in prevention projects in the tReff • Cooperation and networking with partners, institutions and specialist centers • Conducting welcome and information interviews with newly arriving migrants • Participation in the further development of the Specialist Center Society For this demanding task, you bring a degree as a Social Worker FH or an equivalent qualification. You show interest and flair for low-threshold work with a focus on the needs of the community and are an open, sociable personality with enjoyment in versatile work. You like to work independently and in an agile and dynamic team. You are characterized by high empathy, but also assertiveness and flexibility.
