EMS has 25 production sites in 16 countries, employs around 3'000 people worldwide and, with around 140 apprentices, is the largest vocational trainer in the canton and recipient of the National Education Prize. EMS-CHEMIE is an internationally successful company specializing in high-performance polymers and specialty chemicals.
