Perched at 1600 meters, at the top of the Charmey gondolas, the Restaurant Le Vounetz has just been entirely renovated: 340 seats, a terrace with a full panorama over the Gruyère, and a new work tool designed for the comfort of the teams. Open 290 days per year, it lives to the rhythm of the mountain with fluctuating types of service due to crowds. After the departure of the proprietors who led the restaurant for eight years, TéléCharmey SA is forming a new management team (restaurant manager and head chef) to write the next chapter of the Vounetz story. Start date: ideally by the end of 2026, or to be agreed. Application deadline: 20 September 2026 Restaurant Manager 100% Your Missions: You organize service across the four restaurant areas; You supervise, plan, and train the service staff while ensuring the quality of the welcome; You manage orders, bar stocks, as well as the cash register; You coordinate events and groups with the kitchen and the rest of the mountain. Your Profile: Proven experience in dining room/service management, ideally in a high-traffic setting (catering, tourism, events); CFC as a catering specialist or training deemed equivalent, with successful experience as a head of service or assistant head of service; Sense of contact and hospitality, you know how to create a relationship of trust with customers; Holder of the Fribourg license, an asset; Oral knowledge of German and English, an asset. Your way of working: Practicality, organization, and rigor are proven in you; You manage high variations in crowds without losing either quality or your smile; You ensure a fluid and proactive link between the dining room and the kitchen, so that service runs without a hitch; You set the tone for your team by example, on the ground, in contact with customers; Snow and wind do not scare you, restarting after a storm is a true collective adventure.
